How to manage expectations

Every arrangement is a one-of-a-kind design. No two arrangements are the same. We consider your preferences as I use my artistic license to create a work of art! Colors are subjective. “Royal Blue” in your eyes may be a completely different color in the balloon world. I will do my best to make the outcome predictable and offer my professional opinion. However, I reserve the right to make necessary changes during the creative process to ensure your balloons are perfect. Occasionally, I may need to replace a balloon with a different style if the balloon has a manufacturing defect.

Where are you located?

Birdy by V  is a mobile balloonery, so we do not have a storefront location. All orders are taken online. Please complete our booking inquiry order form if you’d like to schedule a consultation.

What are your hours?

We are available by appointment only. We have a $75 minimum for all orders and are open Monday through Friday, 9 am-2 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 8 am-2 pm

What is the best way to place an order?

Start by checking out our website. We have a complete menu of options and pricing tiers for you to consider. Once you find something you like, complete our booking inquiry order.

Birdy by V will contact you within 24-48 hours via email or phone to discuss your order.

For same-day deliveries, please text 832.303.1680 to check our availability. This phone number is for texting service, not used as a phone line. A rush order fee will apply.

Why can't I call to place my order?

Birdy by V asks that you complete our booking inquiry form so that all of your event details are documented from the start and stored in writing for future reference in our database. We then follow up with an email and phone call. 

How much does it cost for delivery?

Delivery fees depend on the nature of your order, your location, and your access to the venue. All fees are subject to change.

Do you charge for setup?

No, our balloon garland prices include the balloons setup, but they are subject to change depending on the type of installation.

Do you offer clean-up/strike services?

Yes, we are a full-service balloonery. We offer delivery and balloon removal. We charge a flat $200 if we must return to pickup and/or balloon removal.  This is a flat fee for any instance. For liability purposes, many hotels and public venues require us to return. If you decline this service, you are liable for all charges accrued due to clean-up.

Do you provide a mockup?

We do not offer a mock-up for “everyday” balloons. If you require a digital rendering of your order, we charge a design fee of $25- $50. The design fee is included in the proposal for large-scale installations.

How and when do I pay?

Full payment is due before delivery or pickup. We accept all major credit cards. Payments may be processed using our pay link invoice or other apps: PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle. Once payment is processed, arrangements will begin, materials will be ordered and your project will be placed on our calendar.

All sales are final. If you have special circumstances, please request a copy of our cancellation policy/Terms & Conditions to review your contract.

How long do balloons last?

Birdy by V cannot guarantee that your balloons will last once they have been delivered or picked up. Children, pets, tree branches, brick or textured walls, hot cars, and nails are just a few examples of things that can pop your helium balloons. The stability and longevity of your balloons are also affected by direct sunlight, temperature, humidity, and guests touching them. 

Air-filled balloons can last days, weeks, and sometimes even months! However, over time, balloons will oxidize, and their color and shine will be affected.

Helium-filled balloons have a much shorter lifespan lasting only about 3-5 days. 

• Latex balloons have an approximate float time of 12 hours.

• Mylar/Foil balloons have an approximate float time of 1 week.

Many variables can affect the float time of your balloon decor, including, but not limited to, weather, rain, wind, and extreme heat. Please be aware of this if you are reserving a date for an outdoor installation.

Who is responsible for my balloons?

Once delivered, Birdy by V is not responsible for balloons that are popped, stolen, lost, poked, or let go of. If WE pop your balloon, it will be replaced at no charge, or a refund will be issued if we're unable to get a replacement on time.

Local Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are based in Houston. We can deliver within a 30-mile radius of 77079.

If your delivery address is further, additional fees will be pending our availability.

Installation

Installation fees are included in the balloon garland price, but they may change depending on the type of installation.
